NDIS

At Big Sky Psychology, our psychologists are experienced in support individuals under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with capacity building and improving daily living skills. Our NDIS psychologists support Self-Managed or Plan-Managed participants under the NDIS. The NDIS is a scheme of the Australian Government that funds costs associated with disability.

Can I access support if I am Plan-Managed under the NDIS?

If you are self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), our Psychologists can help you. Please reach out to make an enquiry and select NDIS (Self-Managed or Plan-Managed) by clicking here. We strongly believe in psychological support to help individuals maintain positive health and wellbeing and to improve one’s mood, self-esteem, performance goals, relationships, and overall life satisfaction.

What do NDIS psychologists provide help with?

Early on in therapy, an NDIS psychologist will discuss your goals to form the basis of our work together. Our goals are a great way to measure progress but can always be adjusted along the way to suit your needs and circumstances should they change during our time together. Should you be unsure, your NDIS psychologist will be able to answer any questions and explore your values to help set goals to improve your mood, self-esteem, and independence.

What our NDIS Psychologist provides:

Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, you may be able to access: Capacity Building, Daily Activities – Improved Daily Living Skills – Therapeutic Supports, which includes Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy and/or Training (including AT) delivered by a Psychologist.
